Charles N Griffin

2001-Present: Charles was the founder and continues to be the sole owner of Griffin Management, LLC. With an initial focus of exploration in the DJ Basin in eastern Colorado, in 2010 GM shifted its focus to oil exploration in Kansas due to the regulatory direction Colorado was headed. Taking my experience in stratigraphic trap geology with modern fracturing technology and applying it to Kansas has given us a competitive edge in a state that has historically focused on structural trap geology. We have made several large reservoir discoveries with the most significant being our Granddaughter Project that is now eight miles long and two miles wide with over 100 currently productive wells and we have not found the reservoir boundaries of this large stratigraphic trap. We have been the fastest growing oil producer in Kansas for several years and look to continue that growth in the future with a large acreage position of A+ locations to develop.

Other than a nine year period in 1990-99 when I worked for SRG financial filling orders in the Eurodollar pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, my focus and passion has been on Oil and Gas Exploration and Development. With 30 years of experience and an amazing team we have grown into a dynamic company with a tremendous future.
